Pick-Click-Give boosts local non-profits with PFD donations

Local area non-profits have seen encouraging numbers form the Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend’s Pick Click Give program.  Pick Click Give allows people to make charitable contributions when they sign up for the PFD.
So far, Clear Creek Cat Rescue has received 112 donations for $4,900 dollars; Jessica Stevens Community Foundation has received 42 donations for $3,775; Talkeetna Friends of the Library has gotten 25 donations for $2,850; Denali Arts Council gathered 30 donations for $1,550; KTNA received 37 donations for $2,200; Sunshine Community Health Center saw 26 donations for $1,350 and Northern Susitna Institute received 15 donations for $975.

According to new data released by the State Department of Revenue Permanent Fund Division, 19,627 Alaskans have pledged more than $1.78 million to nonprofit organizations throughout the state.  That represents growth of nearly ten percent more funds than had been pledged this time last year.
PFD applications and Pick Click Give Donations continue through March 31st.
