An aircraft flipped at Talkeetna Airpoirt late on Friday, July 20th. No injuries were reported. According to Federal Aviation Administration’s preliminary incident report, one crew member and one passenger were aboard a Citabria fixed-wing for a training flight. The pilot attempted to abort takeoff around 10 pm Friday night. During the aborted takeoff, the plane flipped, causing substantial damage to the aircraft.
The aircraft was registered locally, but the plane’s owners declined to comment on the incident.
