Rep. Keller is Alaska Legislature's most prolific bill-sponsor so far

The Northern Susitna Valley’s elected representative in the State House, Wes Keller, is the most prolific Bill sponsor so far of the 28th Alaska Legislative session. Keller has 16 bills on the schedule so far, and they range from procedural to social. Here’s a brief run-down:

HB18 would provide priority to personal use fisheries when fishing restrictions are implemented to achieve a management goal.

HB69 is an act exempting certain firearms and firearm accessories in the state from federal regulation; and provides for criminal penalties for federal officials who enforce or attempt to enforce federal law.

HB24 is the so-called “stand your ground” act,  relating to self-defense in any place where a person has a right to be.

HB67 would establish March 29th as Vietnam Veterans Day.

HB31 would require school districts to develop and require completion of a history of American Constitutionalism cirriculum.
