Senator Lisa Murkowski has wasted little time in the new session of congress advancing a number of bills on behalf of Alaska. She is also the ranking republican on the Senate Energy Committee, and the Interior Appropriations Subcommittee, and has shown she’s willing to use her influence to seek policies that would enable more oil production, and allow states to have control over more of their federally managed resources.
