In this episode of StarDate Susitna, Kathleen Fleming talks about the strange wanderings of the Moon, Jupiter in the evenings and Venus in the mornings, examining the Milky Way during this week of dark nights, and more.

During each month of this year and 2025 and 2026, one phase of the Moon will be so high as to not officially set, for latitude 62 and north.  Each December will have a super elevated FULL Moon.  Kathleen begins an explanation in this edition of StarDate Susitna, and will continue in a future episode, with visual aids posted online.
