Kathleen Fleming has a Solar Eclipse edition of StarDate Susitna for this Susitna Writers Voice program. A “Ring of Fire” will be visible across Oregon and down thru Texas on Saturday October 14th, 2023. Will Alaska get to see any of it? A map of the Annular Eclipse path is shown below.

Note: one of several errors Kathleen made in recording this show was NOT caught in time…  after apogee on the 10th, the moon begins moving closer to the earth (not further), and is indeed still not close enough, therefore big enough, to completely cover the sun.
