The Susitna Valley High School girls and boys basketball teams travelled to Healy on Thursday to participate in a three day tournament, the Tri-Valley Invitational. The boys defeated Huslia on Thursday, and defeated Northway on Friday to gain entrance into the Ship, the tournament championship game. North Pole JV played twice on Friday, and beat Cordova JV and Tri-Valley to earn their way into the title game. The boys championship game was the last of eighteen games played over a three day span, and, perhaps, the most exciting. Click on the links below to listen to the game, quarter by quarter.
