| 1 event, - The Talkeetna Historical Society hosts their closing event Salmon Run Art Auction at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar on Sunday, July 27th from 3 to 6pm. Visitors can view all salmon in person that are in the online auction and enjoy some snacks. There will be 4 late-run salmon auctioned off live at the event. Online bidding is open through July 27th at 5 pm. Help will be available at the event to participate in the online auction. Proceeds benefit the Talkeetna Museum. There will also be a dance performance during the art show, at 5pm. - Sunshine Community Health Center hosts their 3rd annual Community Celebration on Saturday, August 9th from 10am until 3pm at the Talkeetna Clinic. This event includes a health resource fair, sports physicals and immunizations, mammograms, back to school supplies, live music, food trucks and vendors.
