Talkeetna Historical Society looks to the future

On Thursday, about twenty Talkeetnans gathered to share ideas about what they want to see in the future for the Talkeetna Historical Society’s museum. Two representatives of Juneau-based Exhibit AK were also in the former schoolhouse building to collect those ideas.  

Talkeetna sewer lagoon in compliance for September

  The Talkeetna sewer lagoon has tested in compliance with its state permit for the month of September. According to testing documents, the effluent sample taken on September 26th tested well within requirements for fecal coliform bacteria, with colony forming units totaling one quarter of the maximum allowed number.

Final tallies show Talkeetna sales tax in, Mayfield retains seat

  A Palmer boy has died in a crash on the Parks Highway. Initial results in for Upper Valley elections

Initial results are in for elections throughout the Mat-Su Borough.
